About the Project
“UNICEF and global partners define an orphan as a child under 18 years of age who has lost one or both parents to any cause of death. By this definition, there were nearly 140 million orphans globally in 2015.” – (UNICEF)
The numbers and facts are staggering; just think about the emotional trauma every orphan experienced after the loss of one or both parents. These children are emotionally broken and all they want is a loving heart and a gentle touch from you to reassure them that everything will be okay.
The prophet (PBUH): “Whoever embraces an orphan of two Muslim parents by feeding him and giving him drink until he is independent, Paradise will certainly be necessary for him.” [Musnad Ahmed] Based on this hadith, Teebah Foundation decided to honour every orphan and support them till they are independent individuals with set goals. Our programme protects vulnerable children and supports their basic needs and life necessities like food, shelter, clothing, medication, healthcare and education.
Who will benefit from the programme?
Orphans in the following countries: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

If you can afford sponsoring an orphan then go for it. Because, first, you will be looking after a young human being who will forever pray for you. Second, it is considered to be an ongoing charity (Sadaqa Jariyyah), hence, the reward is great! Finally, the prophet was once an orphan, remember? He (PBUH) said: “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.
